JUNIPER BERRY

With its balsamic, piney and woody aroma, juniper berry is a powerful detoxifier and can boost the immune system.  It can be used to reduce joint pain from arthritis and rheumatism.   It can help with respiratory issues, gas, bloating, fluid retention and lymph congestion.  Juniper berry can help minimize stretch marks and soothe sore muscles.   It is centering and used to clear negativity making it great to use during prayer and meditation.

Blends well with bergamot, geranium, lavender, rosemary, tea tree and citrus oils.

Uses:

Bloating/Gas:  Apply 2-3 drops to the abdomen.

Household cleaner:  Mix 10 drops with a cup of water to be used on all kitchen and bath surfaces.

Immune health:  Diffuse 3 or 4 drops.  Mix 8 drops with 1 tablespoon coconut oil and rub on the sole of the feet.

Inflammation/Sore Muscles:  Mix 4-5 drops with 1 tablespoon coconut oil and apply to the area of discomfort.

Reduce negativity:  Diffuse to clear negativity from a room, mix a few drops in your cleaner, or apply a drop to each wrist and/or the
back of the neck.

Stretch marks:  Mix 2-3 drops with 1 tablespoon coconut oil and massage into the affected area.

Safety:

If you have sensitive skin, dilute with a carrier oil before applying. If you are pregnant, nursing being treated for other health issues or taking medications, be sure to consult your healthcare provider.
