Cypress is said to be the wood used for the cross Jesus was crucified on. Some say it was a mix of cypress, cedar, and pine. Whichever it is, this is special. It has a piney, earthy aroma and is highly valued because of the properties that allow it to fight infection, ease muscle pain, boost mood and relieve feelings of grief and anxiety. As an astringent, it is helpful in tightening gums, muscles and the abdomen. It can be used to calm respiratory issues and to increase perspiration and urination which helps remove toxins from the body.

Blends well with bergamot, clary sage, frankincense, grapefruit, lavender, lemon, myrrh, orange, rose.

Uses:

Boost mood/Relieve anxiety:  Diffuse or inhale from the bottle. Also can apply a drop to wrists.

Muscle ache/pain:  Apply topically either directly to the area or mix 3-4 drops to 1 teaspoon of carrier oil (coconut oil, almond oil, etc.) and apply to the area.

Respiratory issues:  Mix 2-3 drops with 1 teaspoon of carrier oil (coconut oil, almond oil, etc.) and apply like a vapor rub to the chest.

Toxins: Apply to a drop to the wrist or mix 3-4 drops with 1 teaspoon of carrier oil (coconut oil, almond oil, etc.) sole of feet.

Astringent
Deodorant
Diuretic

Safety:

Do not use if pregnant, nursing or taking medications.
Do not take internally.
